VOlunteer

Volunteers are vital to the mission of the Georgia Transplant Foundation. With your help we can raise awareness, funds, and continue enriching the lives of transplant patients and their families.

How Can You Help?

GTF needs people of all ages and backgrounds to help. Your time and dedication have a real impact on the lives of Georgia's transplant community. We have various volunteer opportunities to meet your skills and interests. Current volunteer roles include:

Special Events Committees
We always need help acquiring auction items, new sponsors, selling event tickets, etc.

Office Volunteers
The GTF office is located in Roswell, Georgia. We are always looking for reliable volunteers to come in and help us with filing, copying, entering computer data, assembling packets, putting together mailings, etc.

Share Your Story
Transplant candidates, recipients, living donors, and caregivers willing to share their story/transplant journey with others through: GTF's Imprint Magazine, social media campaigns, marketing initiatives, Trends In Transplant (TNT) conferences, media interviews, and as a speaker at events.

Become a Mentor
Become a trained GTF Mentor and help guide others along their transplant journey by being a part of The Mentor Project.

Dialysis Center Liaison Mentor
We are looking for kidney transplant recipients previously on dialysis to become Dialysis Center Liaison (DCL) Mentors. The Mentor would need to go back to their dialysis center and speak/educate people on dialysis about transplantation as a treatment option and the services GTF provides to help along the way.
