EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
The Emergency Financial Assistance Program is intended to offer transitional support for emergency needs that are not considered medical in nature but have a direct impact on the survival and health of the transplant recipient.
Transitional, short-term support
The goal of the program is to provide relief for unforeseen emergencies that arise for solid organ transplant recipients for which this help can be expected to alleviate the crisis.
The program responds quickly to these emergency needs that are not considered medical in nature but have a direct impact on the survival and health of the transplant recipient, and offers transitional support while permanent plans are put into place.
